"Hit Me," a faith-based comedy starring comic Brad Stine as Matt Lane, a mild-mannered professor who develops a gambling problem and runs up hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. Seeing no way out, Matt attempts to hire a hit man to whack him so his family can collect his life insurance. Two major obstacles arise, however. Matt changes his mind and decides he wants to live and Tony, the hit man, who is on his first assignment, discovers that whacking people is not one of his 'natural gifts.' After a cat and mouse game between the two, Matt eventually finds a supernatural solution to his problem, and agrees to change his ways. "Hit Me" is a redemptive, "It's a Wonderful Life"-style story of grace that could become a perennial holiday classic.
"Shooting Star," the story of Bevo Francis the highest-scoring college basketball player of all time (116 and 113 points in two different games), and how his success and his team's success saved Rio Grande college from bankruptcy, and, some say, may have saved college basketball, which was almost destroyed by a large-scale betting scandal in the 1950s.
"The Mind of Terror," the true story of Tass Saada, former PLO terrorist and bodyguard/chauffeur for Yasser Arafat Arafat. Saada terrorized and killed Christians and Jews alike until he had a spiritual conversion when he came to the United States. Today, Tass writes and speaks on reconcilliation between Muslims, Jews, and Christians and even runs a school on the very spot near Jericho where he once fought in the 1967 war.
"A Golden Voice," about disc-jockey-turned-homeless-addict Ted Williams and his eventual return to sobriety after a Youtube video of him using his radio voice went viral.
"The Pumpkin Papers," the story of Whittaker Chambers and his transformation from atheist and avowed communist to a person of faith. Chambers was called before Congress in the 1950s to testify about his former communist associations and produced microfilm evidence that he had hidden in a hollowed-out pumpkin on his farm.
